FUNCTIONAL TRAINING
What it is & What it is for
Functional training, also called Functional Training, is a type of training that aims to improve the quality of movements through a series of complex exercises.
The cornerstone is the development of greater stability at the core and coordination level
It is often used both for recovery from injuries and in sports to increase endurance or take place in a certain type of action.
It is also used in workplaces where the person makes repeated movements, this type of training is used to train the body to these actions and thus avoid the incidence of accidents at work.
It is an activity aimed at everyone, the exercises are not only about strength but often about resistance, precision of movements, recovery of joint function and much more.
CALISTHENIC TRAINING
What it is & How we use it
Calisthenics training is a very effective bodyweight training protocol for increasing strength, endurance, balance and coordination, while also allowing you to greatly improve joint mobility.
This discipline makes use of both isometric and dynamic exercises able to train all muscle groups and develop a toned, defined and harmonious body.
This activity is within everyone’s reach, including progressive workouts that follow the logic of individual adaptation and make it practicable by any subject; in fact, it consists of various progressive exercises that lead to joint and neurophysiological adaptation.
POSTURAL GYMNASTICS
The exercises, which can have both a therapeutic and a preventive function, aim to re-educate the human body to perform the movements correctly and to assume the correct postures in everyday life.
Postural gymnastics serves as a rehabilitation technique when some problems with the spine (scoliosis, scyphosis, neck pain, etc.) and posture (i.e. the position that the body must assume daily) are highlighted, due to both sedentary lifestyle and surgical interventions.
HYPOPRESSIVE GYMNASTICS
Hypopressive gymnastics consists of a series of exercises on the abdomen by breathing, it brings advantages in many cases, for example:
- Helps manage stress
- Reduce the pressure in the abdominal, thoracic and pelvic cavities
- Reduce the abdominal circumference and tone the abdomen
- Improve your posture
- In women, prevent weakening of the pelvic floor after childbirth
- Preventing abdominal femoral, abdominal, inguinal and vaginal hernias
- Prevent urinary incontinence
- Prevent and improve edema and heaviness in the legs
- Helps the lymphatic drainage of the whole body
- Helps the digestive system
It is often used in women after childbirth, where normal exercises could be harmful and have a more toned abdomen. It is also very useful for sportsmen who, after years of competitive activity, report the damage of the activity to the highest physical level, as happens for example in marathon runners.
SELF DEFENSE
What it is & What it is for
Self defense, especially for women, is a very important discipline.
It improves self-esteem and self-confidence, not only in dealing with dangerous situations but also in confronting people and daily difficulties.
Our courses are not based on combat or attack but on acquiring the ability to maintain control and defend one’s position from anyone who attacks us.
VASCULAR & CIRCULATOR PROBLEMS
Over the years we have developed training protocols suitable for those who have circulatory problems, insufficient lymphatic denage, or suffer from edema, lipodema and lipedema.
Often these types of problems, if left untreated, lead to weight gain which further aggravates the situation
Thanks to these targeted workouts we have been able to relieve leg swelling, heaviness, stasis and lymphatic system deficiency, problems often linked to the tiring work environment, such as for those who always work standing or always sitting.
These types of training are also useful to prevent the onset of these problems by strengthening joints and specific muscles and often prevent the problem from requiring clinical or in any case more advanced and invasive interventions.
POST LESIONES
How we work
Perhaps the most important phase after an injury is recovery and how it is addressed, a planned and studied recovery, specific to the type of injury, allows you to recover completely and without pain or irreversible damage, in the right time.
Performing this phase incorrectly can lead to partial or total loss of functionality, to aggravations or, in the best of cases, in any case to permanent pain.
Knowing this problem, we study exercises with you and apply techniques built on your situation and your possibilities. This is the only way to return to a normal life after any trauma, without tearing and without haste.
